Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992 was originally performed and conceived by Anna Deveare Smith as a one-woman show. The play is about the 1992 Los Angeles riots that followed the acquittal of the four police officers involved in the beating of Rodney King. It is told through a series of monologues by real people who were connected directly and indirectly to the riots.
